Kinuachdrachd Harbour
<
A pleasant anchorage, out of the tide, and sheltered from westerly winds. If the wind has a lot of south in it, then Port an Tiobart to the north of the promontory would be more comfortable.
Lots of goats. Convenient for a walk to Barnhill, where George Orwell lived for a while, and where he wrote Nineteen Eighty-Four.
The view of Jura, approaching Kinuachdrachd, with the Gulf of Corryvreckan to the right:
At anchor in the Bay.
Looking east from the anchorage.
Chasing rainbows

Barnhill, from the South.
