Loch Nevis
Entrance to Loch Nevis, with Knoydart on the left. 'Hourn' is Gaelic for 'Hell', and Nevis means 'Heaven', hence Knoydart lies between Heaven and Hell.
Glaschoille is a quiet place in northerly winds, unless you are looking for a good meal, in which case you would probably pick up a mooring in front of the Old Forge at Inverie.
Unfortunately, it is becoming more difficult to find a spot to drop an anchor in Tarbet bay due the increased number of moorings and the deep water. The photo below shows Tarbet in 1998:
There is not much swinging room at Port Giubhais, Loch Nevis, so it is really only suitable as an occasional anchorage in settled weather:
